This has clearly been a major source of trouble, a cause of much of the inconsistency that’s been the only consistent thing in “Root A”. I haven’t read it (not this far into it at least), and I know this season has been a strange dance with manga canon – lots of spins and dips, sometimes cheek-to-cheek and sometimes in a different room. Here’s what I don’t know: what the relationship of this ending to the manga is. After I tweeted that I started reading some of the reaction in the usual places, and lo and behold – almost universal derision and snark.
And my first comment (on Twitter) after it was over was “Whatever you may think of the story choices, that was one of the most artistically beautiful anime episodes ever.” Now it so happens that I liked the story choices, but I’ll get to that shortly. I hadn’t read a word of reaction to the finale when I watched it – watched it half a day later than normal due to RL commitments, as it happens. It’s a vexing, confusing, irritating, enigma of a show and it seems only right that it should end with such a spectacular disconnect – between the audience and the series, and between myself and most of the audience. Fitting, because Tokyo Ghoul (all the more so “Root A”) has been all over the map. Fitting, because it seems rarer and rarer that I agree with the mainstream on anything anime-related. This feels like a fitting moment to me in so many ways.

I recommend u to watch Mirai Nikki or Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu or Code Geass. I'm sure I will buy manga (I know I can read it online but I rather having it IRL) and then everything gonna be clear and fixed. Its because anime is missing so many facts/conversation's and other important things.
That's why when someone is watching season 3/4 they don't know what is going on. They should make atleast 100 episodes instead they doing 2x12 ep's. They trying to end this anime in 12 ep's to not waste more money on it. It's more like trailer for manga than full manga adaptation. The only negative thing I found is that in season 3 and 4 they are really rushing. I should reward it with more value :( Tokyo Ghoul is definitely amazing anime and I'm so happy that u got into it! Kaneki quotes, good story, awesome drawing, coffee and song of the day, everything connects to create best post in the world and yea tokyo ghoul have amazing Soundtracks/openings.
